The PrairieThunder is (was) a professional hockey team in the IHL, now renamed the Blaze and under new ownership. We worked in the off season to develop an awareness campaign for the upcoming season. The goal was to generate awarenss by executing the very first ad campaign ever attempted in the team's 4 year existence.

So, what we came up with was an inexpensive little idea that involved starting up a fake organization that would take out ads and make videos that protested the hockey team and hockey in general. An obsurd agenda for sure, but perfectly obsurd enough to make people wonder what the heck was going on.

The Counter Hockey Coalition (CHC) was born and the protesting began. We made some commercials and some outdoor ads to promote the CHC website.
